I rescheduled the interview using the option provided, just shifting it by two days due to a personal emergency. Despite this, I was rejected the very next day with the reason that they had already found the right candidate. I was not even given the chance to interview. If rescheduling wasn’t acceptable, it should not have been an option. The process felt rushed and unfair; please improve communication and give every candidate a fair opportunity.

Here's Jörg. I'm the CTO and one of the co-founders of RoomPriceGenie. For context, this is our first information security manager role, and this role will report directly to me. First of all, thank you very much for your feedback, and I'm very sorry to hear that I made you feel this way!

I completely understand how frustrating it must have felt to reschedule due to a personal emergency, only to be informed later that the position had already been filled. That's on me, and I genuinely apologize for the confusion and disappointment this caused. We did hire the candidate I mentioned, and the role is filled now. The rejection had nothing to do with you rescheduling the call. I completely understand that the timing here was unlucky and that I should've communicated this properly. Again, I feel awful for making you feel this way!
