I never could expect such a bad work experience from a university in Switzerland. The bad attitude of the female director makes it to a very toxic place to work in.
The consequence is that simple: the people working there are constantly changing every few months and not even one Swiss employee works there (they probably don't accept the aggressive way of the manager and know better that in Switzerland employees have to be treated with dignity and respect).
Once I witnessed her shouting very loud in the staff kitchen "Damn it, damn it, I will kill someone". The reason? She had no kitchen roll to dry her hands.
Not to mention the picture of her hanging in her office: On that picture she sits on a throne, holding a scepter and wearing a crown on her head. Yes, it is very pathetic.
These are two examples among many others that I will not mention here. But the facts speak for themselves.
There is nothing good to expect from there in a long-term perspective. So my advice to you: Avoid this place.

Not applicable to the HR person. I found it very difficult to talk to him about any kind of problems as he is on the management side and would not hesitate to use everything you tell him against you.

The biggest problem in this company. The female director misbehaves and use her authority against her employees. She doesn't hesitate to yield at you just because she has a bad mood. Not respect at all in her actions and the way she "manages" the company, using cheap methods of fear and intimidation toward the staff members. Very difficult to build any durable and healthy relationship with her.
