The complete absence of communication reflects both incompetence and a lack of respect. If an organization cannot manage to send a simple “thank you, but we have decided to proceed with other candidates” email, it raises serious concerns about how it treats its actual employees. This goes beyond poor HR practice; it demonstrates arrogance and complacency. I invested several hours preparing, followed up courteously twice and delayed pursuing other opportunities, only to be left without any response. Companies that operate this way should not be surprised when they struggle to attract talent, as they clearly fail to value people’s time and effort.

Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being ignored and undervalued.
