Most colleagues are great and supportive but management creates a rather demotivating atmosphere.

Information flow does not work, there are no processes in place, instead, there is a lot of micro-managing. This creates confusion und inefficiency.

Most colleagues work great together, this is what makes working here worthwhile.
Work-Life-Balance
Basically, it is encouraged to take vacation and rest. Also, vacation bans (e.g., over Christmas) were never as strict as communicated. It is, however, somewhat expected that you work well beyond your regular hours and also on vacation.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Moody with outbursts, backbiting colleagues in front of other employees, lack of trust, unappreciative mentality. There is also a blatant favouritism in place.
Interessante Aufgaben
The tasks are interesting and manifold and there is some space for experimenting. Due to lack of top-down plans, you get to do a lot of different things but you must also change your own tasks constantly.
Gleichberechtigung
It often felt like women were seen as nothing but assistants and were not taken seriously, e.g., when proposing ideas vs. male colleagues proposing the same ideas.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Hard to say as there are mainly young people working there.

Nice office with air conditioning. IT devices work well.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Doesn't seem to have any importance. Employees get food vouchers and additional insurance, however.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
If you negotiate well, you can get a salary that's in line with the market.
