This was one of the most toxic and exhausting work environments I have experienced.
The company is run through extreme micromanagement. The CEO is involved in virtually every decision, which creates bottlenecks, slows execution, and leaves little room for ownership or autonomy.
There is no clear long-term strategy. Priorities change constantly, sometimes weekly, resulting in endless rework and wasted effort. Teams spend more time reacting to leadership decisions than executing a coherent plan.
Everything is treated as urgent. Evening and weekend work is common, not because of extraordinary circumstances, but because of poor planning, shifting priorities, and management-created emergencies. Employees are expected to absorb the consequences.
Morale is low, turnover is high, and many talented people leave because the environment is simply not sustainable.
Viele Möglichkeiten seine Ideen einzubringen.
Die Kommunikation vom Top Management ist oftmals etwas schönmalerisch und an der Realität vorbei.
Ein Programm zur Weiterbildung der Mitarbeiter fehlt.
After working in a corporate setting, the journey of joining this startup has been amazing. The whole team is open, reliable and there are no tensions between the different team members or owners. Everyone is a self-starter, working on their own projects and are actually respected (and not given extra work) during their Sprints.
Very good - especially due to the well-known reputation of both the co-founders
It is a start-up - so the first weeks you will have to put in the required hours. Once you have settled in, you can plan your day accordingly. As long as you get the job done - it's all good.
Very fair and generous for a startup
Good
The hierarchy is flat. The only "management level" of 30-40+ people are the co-founders, and they don't even really act like managers.
Very cool. Rooftop and free snacks.
All in English (sometimes) the communication is informal yet still professional.
Very much. Whatever your area is, it is your playground, you can shape your work and put your stamp on something meaningful
