- The technical interview was very hard as we dove deep into Java internals and technicalities. The interviewer was very nice, however, as he explained me everything I didn't (fully) know. This further confirmed me that EPAM has a culture of learning.

Enttäuschender Bewerbungsprozess - fehlende Transparenz und schlechte Kommunikation

Ich habe einen sehr langen und zeitintensiven Bewerbungsprozess durchlaufen für eine projektbezogene Position mit einem externen Kunden. Das erste technische Interview mit dem Unternehmen selbst war sehr positiv und professionell. Leider war der weitere Verlauf - insbesondere die Gespräche mit dem Kunden, das genaue Gegenteil: unstrukturiert, unangenehm und in Teilen unprofessionell. Es wurde im Vorfeld kaum Information darüber gegeben, was mich im Interview erwartet, wer teilnehmen würde oder welche Inhalte besprochen werden.
Besonders enttäuschend war die Rückmeldung nach dem gesamten Prozess: Obwohl meine fachlichen Qualifikationen und mein persönlicher Eindruck sehr gelobt wurden, hat man sich letztlich für eine interne Besetzung entschieden. Dass dies überhaupt eine Option war, wurde zu keinem Zeitpunkt kommuniziert. Eine solch grundlegende Information hätte man von Anfang an offenlegen sollen- das wäre fair gewesen und hätte mir möglicherweise viele Stunden Vorbereitung erspart.
Insgesamt war der Bewerbungsprozess leider eine sehr negative Erfahrung. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass das Unternehmen in Zukunft mit Bewerber*innen offener, strukturierter und respektvoller kommuniziert.
