Replace the manager of the Oerlikon site with a more qualified person. The Oerlikon location needs a manager who knows what matters, not a salesman, a bluffer who always claims to do something and then does nothing.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Since I started working at the company, many of my colleagues have quit. Particularly in the last year, many colleagues resigned due to dissatisfaction. The mood is currently very depressed and the resignations continue. Meanwhile, for the management at the Oerlikon location, the goal had to be set that important positions are doubly secured by building and training successors, because the know-how and long-term employees have jumped off and left a knowledge gap.

Information events by the management at the Oerlikon location have an agenda, but the content doesn't say much. You often get the feeling that the management of the site tries to sell everything possible as a success. Often numbers and statements are made which are not truthful.

Work-life balance ultimately lies in the responsibility of the individual, however, the culture that is being taught is not really healthy. Colleagues work much more than 9 hours per day until late at night. The workload is too high per person. Due to the mass resignations of employees, the work remains with those who stay. Many new employees have quit within a short time, making it difficult to build up new employees and distribute the workload. There's a lack of planning and creativity in the management as to how they want to get a handle on this. The partly arrogant behavior of a group of managers is not particularly helpful.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
There's no interest in solving problems in the long term, as it's easier to blame others. Superiors constantly make excuses as to why nothing works. For almost a year now, the new SAP system has been blamed for all problems. Before, other sites and suppliers were to blame. If you point out to the superiors and management that the problems are internal, you are arrogantly contradicted and silenced. Young superiors in senior positions, without any real experience and training, who think they are better than everyone else. Communication does not take place at eye level.

Equality is hardly present. A certain group of people who are friends among each other, allow each other everything. Others are shamelessly exploited. Expats are often hired at a low wage in the lower wage band. At first glance, the salaries offered to expats seem generous, but it quickly becomes apparent that you've been taken advantage of, which is why many I know have resigned after a short time.

Long-term employees were laid off in a disrespectful manner for cost-saving reasons.

The infrastructure for working is outdated. Old tables and chairs, no modern break room, the internet often fails and the connections are extremely slow. Projectors and TVs often don't work or the cables are missing. The office rooms are extremely hot currently.

Currently, a change is taking place in the gas used in the products to a more environmentally friendly one.
