There are good things, but also very bad ones

2 years ago, it was way higher, but many people were layed off and many left voluntarely. Also the owner is involved way too deeply. Managers reported to get up to 40 Mails a day after working hours, sometimes until 2am in the morning. Team members were recruted for special task forces by the owner without the team lead being informed. Motivation is at an all time low.

It really is that bad. Social media is full of comments about the hillarioisly high price of the device. Employees are joking about the bad management decisions and the constant involvement of top management in even the tiniest tasks (owner and his wife write texts for the homepage or dictate others what to write in their tickets).
Work-Life-Balance
Is actually good for the IT department. Generous core hours, home office and flexible holiday approvals. 1 star less as I know that other departments are not treated that well.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Hard to say. IT department had free books, online courses and certifications were paid. But there is little room for a career. (which did not bother me so much, we already had so many managers)
Kollegenzusammenhalt
I guess this is always high when people work togethet closely. I enjoyed working with others. Small downside, sometimes colleagues pointed fingers in company wide chats, but many people voiced their concern about this practice.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Its not that they are mean or unfair, but many are really not fit for the job. Some told me, they were hired actually for other positions, but were told they have to do the current one for now. We had a manager once that had never worked with IT before, with obviously bad results. Others deliberately hold back information from top management, as they know they would interfer too much (and rightfully so, as mentioned in the comments before). Often they struggled with the most basic things, like a task description (2 word titles with no further description), or simple timelines. Deadlines were missed often and either postponed or management forgot that they existed.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Very good. Latest equipment and the office in the icon tower is very modern.
Kommunikation
Depending on the person, communication is ok. People try to pass information as good as they can. Missing structure hinders this a little. Regarding the owner, as mentioned before, decisions are sometimes made without informing responsible management.
Gehalt/Benefits
You get restaurant vouchers, there was a bonus payment once for achieving a milestone, HR helps with relocation and the salary is above average.
Interessante Aufgaben
At least the IT department had a lot of freedom so far and you could bring in your own ideas.
