Your role

As an Engineer SoC Flow and Methodology IGP, you will contribute to empowering the SoC Implementation community and enhance their effectiveness and efficiency. You will also analyze technical problems and drive issue resolution with various colleagues from other departments, while having the chance to foster technical alignment and agreement on future solutions within the global SoC implementation community.

Your program consists of the following elements:

• Work across the key areas of SoC R&D, gaining exposure to advanced RTL2GDS implementations, future flow and methodology development and much more
• Embark on an international assignment of 4-8 months at our sites in Asia and Europe
• Benefit from tailored training sessions and individual mentoring to accelerate your professional growth
• Take ownership of impactful projects that focus on implementing digital solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and integrate external partners
• Improve and develop concepts and methodologies to increase the quality and efficiency
• Support strategic decision making and the roadmap process for the SoC implementation ecosystem

Your profile

You are curious and interested in a broad range of topics. You don’t expect things to be handed to you on a silver platter - you go search for them. You find inspiration in teamwork, collaborating with your colleagues in the big picture. You can confidently lead and drive results in your field, leveraging your skills and expertise to achieve success.

• Master’s degree and outstanding performance in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science or similar technical programs
• Already gained first work experience in combining technical skills with customer topics, e.g. through internships in consulting others technically
• Work effectively in a multi-site environment involving teams in India, Germany (Munich and Duisburg)
• Interact with colleagues across different locations, time zones, working styles, and cultural backgrounds while being open-minded, respectful, proactive, and willing to understand how different teams operate
• Showing reliability, ownership, and maturity in day-to-day collaboration and being comfortable with virtual collaboration tools
• Experience spending time abroad, either studying or doing an internship
• Strong behavioural awareness, cultural sensitivity, and professional communication
• Ideally gained first experience in academic projects and enjoyed taking on responsibility and leadership tasks
• Excellent English communication, German is a plus
