Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Responsible for early life fail strategy for Automotive Microcontrollers, including definition, implementation and verification of the Burn-In strategy through dedicated product studies
• Define the burn-in reduction roadmap for the whole product life time
• Monitor and guide the production reliability and stability through proper analysis
• Ensure optimum test costs by selecting the proper stress strategy, depending on technology and product
• Be responsible for know-how spreading concerning reliability study setup and analysis within the team and support other Business Units in regard of reliability
• Act as technical consultant for technology related reliability issues, incl. Die Level Screening (DLS) and Material Review Board (MRB-) handling
• Build up a strong international network across various internal departments as well as fabs and external customers
• You will work in interdisciplinary teams with colleagues from Production Management, Test Engineering or Quality Management

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Production Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics or similar
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including at least 4 years focused on product reliability and 4 years in product engineering
• Expert know-how in the fields of intrinsic semiconductor degradation mechanisms as well as electrical & physical failure analysis methods
• Experience working with reliability statistics
• Experience in silicon analysis, verification and/or validation, from working in Product Engineering or Test Engineering
• An overview of IC design flows and semiconductor process integration
• Knowledge or experience in the field of non-volatile memories
• Track record of successfully leading cross functional teams
• Proven ability of bringing long term projects to a close
• Excellent English language skills
