Internship - Strategy M&A Infineon Asia Pacific

As an integral part of Infineon’s global corporate strategy, we at the Strategy and Market Development team are keenly focused on the fast-paced Asian markets, and are actively developing Infineon’s presence in the key growth markets. We are looking for dynamic and highly motivated interns to support our market / business intelligence research and strategy development activities.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Undertake responsibilities that involve a blend of desk and field research
• Collect, clean and analyze quantitative data to develop critical insights and pragmatic data solutions and you'll source, scrub and join relevant public, commercial, and proprietary data sources
• Apply your deep technical knowledge of machine learning to identify insights and patterns using traditional as well as predictive and prescriptive analytics
• Design and create advanced predictive models such as support vector machines, neural networks, decision trees, etc., to allow more informed business decision

Internship Learning Outcomes

• The internship provides an unique opportunity to gain deep insights into the strategy function of a DAX-30 multinational company, with specific learning related to the various Asia Pacific market segments for semiconductors and electronics.
• By the end of the internship, candidates will have worked on a variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience in several areas: Project management, working with team members across various locations and functions
• Exposure to business intelligence research and data gathering through online and offline sources, including desk research and interactions with various stakeholders
• Exposure to Data analysis and correlation with operational and strategic business outcomes

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree student in Business Administration, IT / Computer Science & Computer Engineering, Economics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Strong analytical skills
• Able to work independently and proactively
• Able to commit for 6 months. Candidates with shorter availability period are welcome to apply
