Internship - Microfabrication of ion traps (f/m/div)

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Production Support: Ensure smooth manufacturing flows and provide hands-on line support
• Microfabrication: Execute and log process steps in ion-trap microfabrication
• Measurement: Conduct metrology measurements including electron microscopy, ellipsometry, and reflectometry
• Data Analysis: Evaluate measurement data to identify trends and deviations
• Optimization: Support process optimization and failure analysis
• Interface: Serve as the link between technology development and unit process engineers
• Documentation: Maintain lab and process documentation according to standards

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Education: Actively studying a technical degree at an Austrian university or university of applied sciences, for example physics or electrical engineering
• Language Skills: English fluent, German is a plus
• Interests: Genuine motivation for quantum technologies and semiconductor processes
• Work Quality: Careful, precise, and reliable way of working
• Teamwork: Collaborative mindset combined with an independent working approach
