IT Engineer for the Digitalization of Business Continuity

Seeking a professional to partner with business teams to understand automation needs, assess technical feasibility, and optimize end-to-end processes. The role involves implementing solutions collaboratively, managing and maintaining systems and tools, and supporting the upskilling of team members to enhance overall technical capabilities.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Team up with the departments within BC to understand business demand for automation
• Consult in both technical feasibility and process optimization looking at processes end-to-end as well as workflow optimization
• Perform the technical implementation of applications in close collaboration with your peers and the user
• Maintain the operation of tools including system maintenance, network administration, data management and services administration
• Help upskilling less technical colleagues

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent field of studies
• A first understanding of IT architecture and the approach of digitalization teams
• Solid understanding of Linux, MariaDB/MySQL, and DevOps principles with practical application in production environments
• Already worked with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker and KNIME
• Prior exposure to OKR or agile methodologies
• Fluency in English.
