Lead AI Engineer

We have immediate opening for Lead AI Engineer. This role leads a small team of AI engineers, partners closely with product, data, security, and platform teams, and ensures solutions are secure, scalable, measurable, and compliant. Candidate should have strong hands on exposure NLP/AI/ML, including at least 2-year leading LLM, Gen AI, RAG and Agentic AI. Minimum 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering & Development cycles(CI/CD) with proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python is must. Should be highly motivated, structured and methodical with high degree of self-initiative.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

The AI Engineer Lead owns the end-to-end delivery of AI/Gen AI solutions- from problem framing and architecture through production deployment and lifecycle operations. This role leads a small team of AI engineers, partners closely with product, data, security, and platform teams, and ensures solutions are secure, scalable, measurable, and compliant.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

• Lead, mentor, grow a team of AI engineers and provide technical coaching.
• Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to prioritize use-case features and define success metrics
• Lead the design and implementation of AI/ML and Generative AI applications (e.g., RAG, Agents, Agent Gateway, Orchestration, etc).
• Translate business goals into technical architectures, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Foster a culture of experimentation with responsible engineering discipline (reproducibility, observability, and measurable outcomes).
• Drive delivery of production-grade AI/Gen AI solutions, ensuring strong engineering quality and documentation

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Must have done Masters or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Mathematics/AI/Statistics or equivalent.
• Preferred Domain Knowledge: Experience in Sales& Marketing, Digital Customer Interfaces such as Chatbots, Developer Community, Blogs, Knowledge Portals, Forums and related applications/ Technologies.
• 7-10 years of relevant work experience in NLP/AI/ML, including at least 2-year leading LLM, Gen AI, RAG and Agentic AI initiatives.
• Hands‑on expertise with multi‑agent architectures, orchestration patterns, and tool/memory/routing design.
• Hands‑on Experience integrating LLMs and agents with enterprise systems, APIs, and data sources.
• Knowledge of agent protocols (MCP, A2A) and open‑source agent gateways
• 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering & Development cycles(CI/CD) with proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python.
• Good understanding and experience of Kubernetes / OpenShift and AWS Bedrock Platform.
• Basic Web development knowledge would be beneficial, but not essential.
• Highly motivated, structured and methodical with high degree of self-initiative
• Team player with good cross-cultural skills to work in international team, customer and result orientated
