We are seeking a versatile QA Engineer with 2+ years of experience to drive both manual and automation testing using Playwright or Cypress on Node.js. You will design robust frameworks and execute comprehensive test cases, seamlessly switching between manual exploration and automated script development. Proficiency in CSS/Xpath, Page Object Model, and defect management in Jira is essential for this fast-paced Agile role. If you excel at debugging failures and enhancing testing capabilities while maintaining rigorous manual test coverage, we want to hear from you.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Writing test plans according to the client’s requirements and test strategies.
• Analyze the test outcomes and find the bugs
• Report and manage the bugs using bug tracking tools.
• Creation of test plans and enhancing , debugging and running the test cases.
• Identifying and selecting the automation test cases.
• Documenting the automation test strategy.
• Configuring the software testing estimations
• Ability to work individually and also in a team as and when required
• Should have good hands on Jira.

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Having 2+ years of experience in testing with good hands on exposure in Automation as well.
• Must have experience on Playwright or Cypress.io, NodeJS / Javascript.
• Good knowledge on CSS/Xpath ,Page Object Model.
• Experiences on Git or GitHub or Bit Bucket.
• Must have experience in enhancing the capabilities and developing Framework design.
• Developing and Executing test cases, analyzing the test results and debug/fixing Failures.
• Working knowledge on Defect management tool : Jira.
• Ability to work on fast paced environment
• Experience on Agile Scrum methodology.
• Experience on BDD framework and CI/CD integration is add on advantage.
