As an intern you shouldn't do any extra hours, but if you do you can take time one or two days off in the end. I have seen that many colleagues are staying longer and working much more than what they signed up for, sometimes because they have to meet a deadline.
As an intern you get a fair pay. But I have heard from other colleagues that they could definitely make more money somewhere else.
Everyone is extremely nice and will take as much time as you need to explain you things as an intern. You can see that they are not just colleagues, but friends, and they will treat you as such.
There aren't many "old" employees really. But those that are there, are part of the team as everyone else :)
State of the art in technology. You get whatever technology/equipment you need. Sometimes you don't have access to the desired test-device, because there aren't too many, but they will do their best to get it to you once the other person is finished.
The office is great and very modern. If requested, you might get an adjustable desk .
You see a lot of female Scrum Masters, but in IT you barely see any woman in a high management position like "team lead", "head of.." etc. However, they do have some in non-IT departments.
I have seen that they try to recruit more female candidates for IT, but in some departments there is still only one woman and 10 men.. So I guess that could be better.
As an intern I was expecting to write mostly test cases and stuff. But they actually gave me real tasks in their sprints, and very interesting projects if I showed interest in something.
You also have the DONI, which is 2 days every 3months of working in groups on a project that you are interested in - that doesn't always have to relate to runtastic.

We agree, unfortunately, the balance between males and females in ‘team lead’ or ‘head of’ positions is uneven in our Engineering Department. As this is a topic we are working on, we are excited for the number of female leaders in this department to rise with time! We really appreciate your feedback and hope our paths cross again in the future!
As an intern you will be integrated well in a team and work with them together. You get to know so many new colleagues from all over the world. I love to got more confident in English during my internship. There are also some food benefits like fruits and chocolate. They care about you as an intern. You have events to got to know others from the company and I really liked it. They also motivated me to do more sports. There are a lot of cool things like you try out something on the DONI or you learn so much new things during platform weeks. I can totally recommend runtastic.
