Meaningful open source service provider with a leadership that don't do justice to the company's size and ambitions
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
- Flexible remote working possibilities
- If you like geeks & nerds in a positive way who are experts in their respective fields, you're at the right place
- Some exciting projects, services and customers
- Open source is the common ground and lived as much as possible
- Quickly integrated into team
- Extremely organised and process-oriented
- Very high transparency in terms of available information
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
- Values & culture ("integrity, sustainability" are empty words and nice corporate talk, decisions are made based on purely monetary reasons, often more strict than elsewhere
- Leadership is unaware of it's blind spots (owner/founder/exec-team is 15+ years in the company and never worked for anyone else)
- Management is unresponsive to external (and sometimes even internal) advice and counseling, exec team is +/- board of directors, leading to making simple but costly mistakes over and over
- Salary structure could be better (even though very transparent)
- Lack of organisational structure, strategy and vision beyond team-level
- Company doesn't know how to sell and relied 20+ years on fullfilling incoming customer requests
