Wouldn’t go back, grateful for not being there
I found the employer increasingly opaque and inconsistent in its treatment of employees, with important decisions poorly communicated and policies applied in ways that often felt arbitrary. There was also a noticeable disconnect between expectations of employee commitment and flexibility and the level of fairness, transparency and consideration shown in return, particularly during organisational changes and redundancies.
The whole culture would have to change. The bad influence largely comes from the UK head office
Quite disturbing — employees disappearing overnight, particularly from the HR team, while senior managers are flown in from abroad under the guise of a “strategy announcement,” only to start firing people on the spot.
Poor
Severely under resourced team with growing amount of tasks
Don’t count on that, have limited choice and strong justification required
Salary low given the amount of pressure and workloads. They tend to pay out 13th salary.
Unsure
You can imagine
I’d be careful dealing with colleagues in more senior roles - you don’t know who to trust
Can’t trust them
Average but help if you can work from home
As above
Mostly men in senior roles
Some tasks are interesting- depending on the team and department
Flexible and relaxed, great place centrally in Zurich with facilities nearby
Option to define working hours and time to be in the office vs. working from home myself.
Free and unlimited access to LinkedIn learning facilities
Fully operating in English, however, multi-lingual colleagues bring additional benefits
Ongoing integration tasks, as well as a lot of external communication, make this job very interesting
Location in the middle of Zurich.
Egotistical management, interested mainly in personal promotion and gain.
None. With the aquisition by FE the Swiss entity fundinfo is no longer a place I can recommend.
Open plan office contributes to gossiping and mobbing. I felt constantly under observation from management and co-workers. Mobbing was ignored and HR powerless to do anything about it.
For me personally the image of fundinfo went from average to bad after the takeover by FE.
As the firm offers part-time arrangements, for students or mothers in particular this was beneficial. For the company it was an opportunity to hire cheap labor for execution of tedious data processing and entry. This is changing now with the aquisitition by FE - these jobs are now on the chopping block for outsourcing to the company's substantial subsidiary in India.
I was consistently denied training.
Below average pay, poor bonus and raises. No chance to participate in company success or stock. OK, free coffee.
They paid lip-service that's it.
A mix. Some very nice people, a few truly poisonous ones. In general an atmosphere of suppression and strictly enforced hierarchy - for example a Foosball table stands prominantly in the office but is never (allowed to be) used.
Pretty clever management, gave the impression of caring about employees, but it became clear to me with time it was all about lining their own pockets.
In almost 4 years, I never received a single raise. Very poor as compared to the dozen or so other companies I have worked for.
Regular employee meetings were held, but true corporate agenda kept hidden. It's really all about management selling out the company and retiring wealthy, and VCs profiting on re-packaging and reselling the company for a profit in a couple years.
Interesting to a point, but in the end it was all about proving tools for banks to promote actively managed mutual funds which is really just a fancy term for robbing the ill-informed with glossy brochures.
Frauenfreundlich, tolles Klima.

Jeden Tag was neues zu lernen.
Firme wurde verkauft. Outsourcing nach Indien!
zentrale lage, neben Sihlcity.

Klima, Umgang untereinader, Kommunikation, Entwicklungspotenzial
