Overflooted by Alstom/GE people

They have to improve the attitude to the employees. At the moment the only message which comes along is “everybody can be replaced, (preferably with our friends from Alstom), watch out what you do” . Thats demotivating and people with know-how look already for external opportunuties.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Dependend on the department. Whereas in AD the world is still promising, EfW Business is in panic. The experienced Hzi people/management are disregarded and replaced with Alstom people, just because they are conncted and “know each other”... it is sad to see, very valuable people lose their motivation and leave. Whereas there is no order intake, very expensive external people milk the company since years for the jobs which can be done with internal resources (and the newcomers) easily.
Kommunikation
There are attempts to improve the communication, however when everything comes from top to down as an order, communication seems also useless.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
The people still try to hold on each other, however the trust in management is very waek.
Work-Life-Balance
Can’t complain, the company offers a lot of possibilties like home office etc..
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Depends on the department. Some bosses are very good, some others dont care about the employees at all and think only about saving their chairs and get along with the new CEO.

No matter in which department, the job is interesting.

Still a long way to go. The women have it hard in engineering business and the company, they have to fight in order to prove themselves. However lately a few talented women promotions are promising.

Top location, modern infrastructure. At some floors too many people in small space.
