Same as above. Drop the clock-in, clock-out system and trust your employees until they give you a reason not to.

Dear ex-colleague,
Thank you for your review. I regret that your time at HZI was not as positive as you and we had hoped.

The clock-in system is a procedure required by Swiss labour law, which is not in our hands to choose. It does not at all reflect a lack of trust in the employee, but it meets legal requirements and it also protects our employees from doing overtime without any adequate compensation for it. I regret you experienced it as disturbing.
