The atmosphere between colleagues is good, but the office itself is old, cramped, and not very welcoming. The overall work environment is often chaotic, with poor organization and unclear priorities
Work-life balance is very good. Flexible working hours, the option to work from home, and part-time arrangements make it easy to maintain a healthy balance
Career opportunities are good. It is possible to grow quickly, and employees with good ideas are often given the chance to put them into practice.
Environmental and social responsibility do not appear to be strong priorities. Sustainability is never a topic, and the overall mindset is often quite conservative.
The team spirit is generally good. People often have lunch together or spend breaks together, creating a relaxed, friendly, and enjoyable atmosphere.
good
Leadership quality is mixed. Many managers are excellent engineers who have moved into leadership roles without the necessary people management experience. Empathy and interpersonal skills are sometimes lacking. In the past, there were also some questionable leadership decisions at higher management levels.
The working conditions could be improved. The office spaces are outdated, not welcoming, and often noisy due to the lack of meeting rooms and quiet spaces, meaning discussions frequently take place in the open office. The company does provide nice perks such as free drinks, coffee, and birthday gifts, which are appreciated. However, employees have to pay for upgrades like a decent mouse if they don't want to use the very basic cheap wired mouse. Personally, I would rather see the budget invested in better work tools than in free soft drinks.
Communication is one of the company's weakest areas. Information often travels through multiple people instead of directly, and official points of contact are sometimes bypassed because responses are unlikely. Basic communication tools like Outlook and Teams are not used consistently. In the past years, management also struggled to communicate priorities and expectations clearly.
Equality and inclusion are generally good. However, the mindset of many employees is still quite conservative, and the company could benefit from a more open and modern culture.
Interesting tasks depend on the department. Some teams work on exciting projects, but in my department many tasks were repetitive and not particularly engaging. There was also a lot of chaos in processes, documentation, and folder structures, which made everyday work less efficient.
Most of the colleagues are intelligent, interesting and kind.
Unclear goals and dysfunction disguised as agile
Better alignment and coaching offered to leadership to manage a cohesive team
Overall it’s a fun environment although has its start up chaos
Most of the existing colleagues are great, the new ones require some adjustment to adapt to team and not assume they are the leader being new.
Some have expectations of how a company should run based on previous corporate environment.
Some have been placed in team lead roles without any guidance or experience
This can be improved, it’s either too much in large bursts or not enough with siloed teams
Only applies depending on loyalty to some leaders rather than work output
