There has been a lot of changes from exec level down in the last five years, and with that comes adaptations and then of course personal change and growth which is required to accommodate that. For me this seems normal, there is always change wherever you work. Some of it of course, has been very challenging and other changes have eventually bought about a better working environment. But I have to say despite a few of the changes which I still find hard to understand, and am saddened by, throughout this period of covid I think the company has held itself high in how it has supported all employees. I am really impressed.

I would like to see more opportunity for employees to offer up ideas/solutions for potential new products. Experiences that are gathered and come from different sources can result in interesting and innovative products. Therefore I feel there should be a platform where employees have an opportunity to show this interest. At times the communication is wonderful and exactly the right amount, but that others communication potentially gets lost in translation or doesn't completely filter through to everybody. I think this is genuinely a problem at times in most workplaces, and is always something which could be built upon.

My colleagues are some of the best people I've had the chance to work with, both helpful and supportive, but always time for fun over a cup of tea.

Medela has deep roots in genuinely wanting to support and help mothers, infants and their families. It feels really good to be able to work for a company that continues to offer this and that many times go beyond many other companies in how they support healthcare professionals and families.
