Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Homeoffice? But isn't it now a standard in this industry....
Higher salary than previous employment? Should this be obvious as I am more experienced now?
Unfortunately I can't find anything positive other than these 2...

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Ancient technologies! Inclusion, diversity... all sounds good. In reality however, this is not being lived. Nor perceived. Nor implemented.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Radical change is needed in the management and leadership. Bring some breeze and fresh air into it.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

A very sombre atmosphere. Not fun place to go to work.

Kommunikation

Manager is inconsistent with his/her communication. Often caught lying, finger-pointing, blaming and character assassination. Lacks of accountability.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Despicable. You are pushed to resign yourself. Once you have contributed to betterment of the department and you've cleaned the mess, they will save their face from firing you once you've become redundant. Manager will harass you instead, mob you and push you to your limit until you will, on your own, decide to leave.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Given that there is almost no incentives / fringe benefits other than the 300 CHF for public transportation (that you can't even use how you would want to), nothing really.

Rather positive at the beginning. Not surprising. However, after being "lured & love-bombed", true colors appear. And it's all but rainbow colors!

Due to the anonymity of this opinion platform, it is not possible for us to comment individually and specifically on your comments here. Below are some brief responses to what we consider to be some of your unqualified and incorrect statements.

Creating a modern working environment is key for us. Our digital teams are working in agile teams with flat hierarchies, and we are particularly proud of our one-team spirit. Where tasks allow, employees have great freedom in terms of working hours and also home- / remote office. We are especially proud that many of our employees have been with us since many years and appreciate the modern and open culture.

From your key data, we understand that you yourself were a former employee in our IT department. We regret, that you were not familiar with our binding rules and regulations, such as our Vision&Values, our Code of Conduct, our operating rules in Switzerland, as well as the structured annual Salary & Bonus process, etc. It is a pity that you did not experience it in this way during your time at METTLER TOLEDO.
