Arbeitsatmosphäre

Very informal and uncomplicated. Ambitious targets, a few core rules and excellent teamwork ensure smooth operations. Depending on department and function, teams work autonomously and with significant freedoms. Weekly traditions such as town hall, workshops as well as informal get-togethers help everyone stay aligned towards immediate targets, the long term vision and the game plan overall.

Kommunikation

Weekly workshops / onboardings about new changes. Practice sessions and knowledge sharing for sales team every day except Friday. Master classes and direct support for the product team.
Open door policy as a rule and mostly public Slack communication about all topics really helps for knowledge transfer and inclusion.
Across departments communication is great too - everyone is helpful and engaged so all answers can be found via select public channels or with a quick video call.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Overall extremely positive. There are surely exceptions but dishonesty or discrimination are not tolerated at Orderfox and that's really embedded in the culture from the very beginning (Sept 2020).

Work-Life-Balance

It's practically a 1 year old startup (re-launched), therefore far from a nine to five corporate job. However there is no group pressure to work long hours. Everyone is responsible to own their job. Some employees have family and can hardly do overtime - they have the company's full support.
Those who can and want to go the extra mile (by assuming more responsibilities than required) get rewarded. Fast promotions, after only a few months, are really not exceptions.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Employees receive a state of the art managment education. It doesn't get any better than this. Mistakes do happen but they are always taken seriously and resolved. Open-door policy guarantees that everyone can always speak up safely and be heard.

Interessante Aufgaben

Sales teams are working autonomously in small groups. They have a lot of freedom to shape their day to day business, and can also engage anytime to directly implement a change or try something new. Open door policy gives everyone the opportunity to pitch a proposal to anyone in the company, regardless of hierachies. Furthermore open communication channels allow anyone to discover and, as business allows, to engage directly in any project. If you want to learn a lot and have an input, this is the place to be.

Gleichberechtigung

Discrimination of any sorts is not tolerated at Orderfox. The company's handbook for employees is extremly concise and clear about this, as well as a few other topics. The rule is there, it's lived by and also enforced when necessary. Any employee who witnesses discrimination or feels victim themself, can safely consult directly with any trusted person or of course a neutral stakeholder such as our HR.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

We're all quite young but the few employees which remained from the old Orderfox are well integrated and much appreciated for the insights and experience. Any seniors joining the team are heartfully welcomed on board, respected for their competence, knowledge, as well as celebrated for enriching the team with their presence and personality.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Great office - great equipment. We all have all the resources we need to do our jobs excellently.
