Basically I worked with people that they don't like questioning, they don't like changes and even after the team realised we need to change the technologic base they didn't do anything at all

Is was ashamed to work in ricardo.ch and overall I felt my coo-workers felt unhappy too and the survey we did frequently was pointing out that to the fact they cancelled... The funny thing we were invited to "update/review nicely the job ratings" we did in website like Kununu

Bad decision making, sometimes hostile moments, lack of vision and interest on the product. Unplanned roadmap during the year and ask for extra effort to accomplish things. Freelancers disappeared without any feedback and communication why they left

No honest feedback, a lot of time wasted in meetings only because it was a process that they forget to provide constructive feedback. Communications between teams almost none. People leaving without any communications, job interviews cancelled.

I saw a lot of rants recently on Kununu.com from current or ex-colleagues. Almost all of them without constructive feedback. This is absolutely NOT the way we work at Ricardo. Critisism and constructive feedback is always welcome and if you have decent skills in how to communicate with others this is no issue at all. Unfortunately nowadays not everybody grows up with this skillset...

Managers make sure I get the free time I deserve. I don't know another company which is so keen on not stacking up overtime!

Many of the Lead Engineers are new in their role, but they're all smart people and open for suggestions. It takes time for them to learn. Normal. I could be challenged more, but the way they treat me is absolutely fair and supportive.

Tell me a company where this works... But Ricardo is aware of the problems, open for feedback and always working on improving the way information flows. This includes Tamedia as well! I'm confident we're on the right track.
Interessante Aufgaben
Modern stack and a product where I actually have an impact! Not like all the start-ups in Zurich and around... Currently we're a bit stuck in replacing legacy, but this will be over soon.

If you want to go in full steam, no problem. If you want to do 9-to-5 60% also completely fine. As long as you're transparent about what you need in your current life situation, the company will help you out.
