if you're thinking of applying to Tecan, I wouldn't recommend it right now, even as an external contractor. The company is going through a reorganization and is letting people go.
If you have no other options in your pipeline, take it. But if you have other opportunities, I'd keep pursuing those9, because there are better prospects out there.
For engineering it would still be attractive, though. The products are very good and very interesting.
