Fake impressions at first sight eg good team mood, support, career opportunities. Overall working culture was terrible even for US conditions.

Appreciate employees, ensure same work conditions for all employees, demonstrate that equality can be lived. Adapt to local cultures. American work culture does not work everywhere.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Hire and fire mentality even in Switzerland, within 1 year almost the whole floor replaced. No appreciation of employees. Forced to do extensive overtime, the less the worse. Different rules for each employee, no consistency, dishonesty, very American.

They know how to talk, but to fulfill...

Depending on the team it was ok. Even though the whole team was only 40-50 employees there was no team feeling.
Work-Life-Balance
Terrible, as it's expected to work late, participate meetings out of working hours, no respect to public holidays.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Control instead of support, fingerpointing, dishonesty. The promoted values of respect are only valid towards higher managers. Very hierachic and old fashioned management styles, no trust to employees.
Gleichberechtigung
Not existing, neither in races nor in gender.

Very sad due to the hire and fire culture.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
US offices full of disposable coffee cups, most managers also in Switzerland come by car. No promotion of environmental friendliness.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Benefits only for higher management. Salary very low compared to the industry.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
No long term employee investments, nor career opportunities.
