After several years at Adecco, I can openly say that I do not feel employees are genuinely valued. The way the recent organizational changes and the shutdown of BTC were communicated is a clear example of the lack of transparency, empathy, and respect toward employees.
Adecco is not an environment that encourages curiosity, professional growth, or long-term motivation. Instead, it often feels like a place where careers stagnate rather than develop. The company remains deeply traditional in its mindset and ways of working. While there is constant discussion about innovation, AI, and new technologies, there seems to be a significant disconnect between these ambitions and what is actually happening in the industry worldwide.
For a global HR consulting company that advises other organizations on people, talent, and the future of work, it is particularly disappointing to see how little these principles are reflected internally.
**Before talking about innovation, transformation, and the future of work, Adecco needs to focus on its own people.** Trust, transparency, genuine employee recognition, and career development should be fundamental priorities, not just corporate messaging.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, there is a considerable gap between the values Adecco promotes and the reality employees experience.
