Webrepublic does a lot to create a good working environment including TGIF's, vision cruises, game nights etc and this is appreciated by many, At the same time, with the growth of the business in the last few years, playing politics has became prevalent and this can have serious negative implications for people's motivations and as such has had a negative impact.
The company grew very fast with a very young workforce which meant that many young people were promoted into leadership positions who lack experience in their role as leaders. While there are obviously good leaders at the company (otherwise the company would grow to become such a success) there a few leaders where stroking egos, favouritism and being intransparent around key decisions go hand in hand
A lot depends on oneself - there are nearly 200 people at the company and there are many events being held throughout the year. If you can't find good people at the company, aybe there is a problem with you.
It depends a lot on where you work. There is a high likelihood that one gets to work on a diverse set of clients from different industries and corners of the world which is definitely interesting. However, at the end of the day one is still doing SEA, SEO or Social Media justt for different clients. It depends a lot on what floats your boat.
Depends how one looks at it - communicating that the company values transparency but then being very intransparent about how promotions or client portfolios get awarded is questionable at best.
It appears to be the case with the limited information available to me. However, if salaries were transparent chances are that in some cases the company would have a hard time explaining why there are differences in salaries between different people.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Hard to say as the majority of the workforce is somewhere between 20 - 35 years of age.
Karriere / Weiterbildung
WR is probably one of the best places to learn the fundamentals of digital marketing. The training is thorough and they do a lot to keep up with all the innovation happening. You will learn how to think and do digital at Webrepublic
Gehalt / Sozialleistungen
one does not work at Webrepublic to get rich...there are better places to work salary wise
Umwelt- / Sozialbewusstsein
They donate to various charities and try to reduce environmental impact
Webrepublic has a very good standing within the industry and most clients usually enjoy working with the agency. As a result, exit opportunities are usually easy to come by when looking to move on.
- Be more transparent around promotions and how client portfolios get constructed. Don't do it on the basis of favouritism.
Vision Cruises, modern & central office next to Bahnhof Enge, social activities, good image of company
Lack of transparency around promotions & how client portfolios get awarded
Difficult to move to other departments within Webrepublic

Thank you very much for your review and all of your positive and constructive inputs. These help us to further improve. As a company, we not only want to grow in size, but also continually optimize our processes along the way. Sorry to hear that you had the feeling promotions are handled unfair. We try to make promotions as transparent as possible, which is why we have competency frameworks for each role. This framework shows all existing positions for each team and what experience, competencies and accountability is required for each position. As soon as a Webrepublican gets promoted, this information is shared with the whole company in our monthly Newsletter. Best regards, Nikolai (Head of HR)
