Fake flat hierarchies, management without a mission, founders who apparantly dont talk

Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

As always the team of people working in a sweat shop like this is the best there is. Under pressure people clamp up, join up, and simply enjoy being together. The same goes for the team 'offsites', they were usually fun and good contrast to the grey and boring days in the office.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Trying to earn credit by sharing your 'mistakes' over the back of people you actually already fired. This feels like shooting them in the back again, just to make sure they don't get up again.

Verbesserungsvorschläge

don't post 'learnings' on social media without looking at your own faults and mistakes. If you don't fully commit to an idea as both founders, than don't commit. Stop. Don't put the blame that 'it didn't work' on people that have tried it all to work in your ponzi schemes and in the boundaries of your crazy games.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

nice office, kitchen and good chairs and stuff to work with

Kommunikation

founders contradict each other constantly, no clear (long term) vision, want to go without hierarchy but actually micro manage and give not an ounce of trust or confidence to the people working internally. Despite what you might read in 'flat hierarchy' blogposts on medium.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

we all had the same management to deal with, and most of us dealt with it well

Work-Life-Balance

not too bad, although here also the founders very much differed in opinion - probably because their own work-life balance was so different.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

only promises, none delivered.

Interessante Aufgaben

potentially interesting thoughts and projects, but after meeting with management usually dumbed down to silly copy+paste or 'safe' projects.

Gleichberechtigung

well they 'tried', with class levels and 'promotion and demotion' schemes, but that lead to internal popularity contests. Two stars for trying though.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

people that used to work there were all about how nice they were together and hanging out with friends. If you don't fit in that circle, you'll miss out. The division between young and old (read: 30+) was very real.

Arbeitsbedingungen

ok salary, nothing else on top though.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

it's about the money.
