After the interview was scheduled completely outside the timeframe I had clearly stated as my availability, I received a Teams invitation without any explanation as to why this time had been chosen — even though I had already provided an alternative slot when asked.
Still, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and accepted the invitation.

On the day of the interview, the HR representative arrived late and didn’t even bother to turn on the camera. That was quite a shock and made things uncomfortable, especially since this was supposed to be the first chance to get to know the company in more depth.

The interview was planned for 30 minutes, but it felt rushed — as if the outcome had already been decided before it even began. It ended after just 10 minutes.

After being asked about my minimum salary expectations and sharing them, I also asked what salary range the company had in mind for this role and what the main factors were in determining it. The answer, as brief as the rest of the conversation: “Your expectations are fine with us.”

Shortly after, I received a rejection email with no explanation — just the usual line: “Following a comprehensive evaluation, we regret to inform you…”

This was definitely the first and last time I’ll be applying to this company.
