- didn't specify the job name and description the interview invitation is referring to
- didn't ask vital questions prior (wished work situation)

hence the interview was a waste of time, as essentials were not clear for both sides regarding the placement.

Better ask fundamentals first:
- expected work placement
- expected salary range

and send relevant information
- job description and more info on company
