I've received my resignation letter from intercultural elements by mail 7 days before the first day of the contract.

In the letter there was no reason stated, I received a message back that they could not provide a reason for the termination,only that the contract was being revoked, this after multiple attempts to get contact with the HR department.

Tommunication was always quite hard, application was sent in May, I was supposed to start in October due to slow responses (up to 2 weeks response time from the HR department).
It also took over 1.5 months to receive a draft contract. On top of that it took another month to get the contract signed.

Fair, but not competitive, many employers provide a bonus system and 28/30 paid days off.

Salary would be ok for this job, as it would also be remote.

Thank you for your positive words and constructive feedback! We are very glad to see how much you like our team and our working atmosphere, it can be tricky to highlight openness but I am very glad you feel it is such a strength. As for the youthful, motivated and happy staff, I am glad we can count you as one of them.

I understand that you would prefer a perhaps smaller but more regular bonus by way of bi-annually Summer or Christmas bonuses. At the moment, as you know, we do run our quarterly "Umsatzbeteiligung" or share of the profits, but I will happily forward your suggestion to management.

As for the vacation days, based on a five day week as we have the legal requirement is 20 vacation days and we have 24, giving around 5 weeks vacation per year (plus whatever overtime you prefer to take off in lieu). I will however happily also pass this request onto management.

Should you have any other suggestions on how your working life can be that bit better, please feel free to get in touch.

The management team at InterCultural elements are always approachable and friendly. To give an idea to Germans, when speaking German here, we always use 'du'! The directors always welcome new ideas and are always open to hearing about how to improve the business - both for employees and for clients.

There's a flat hierarchy here. The 3 directors have an open-door policy, are always available to talk to. Ideas are welcomed and constructive feedback is always encouraged.

Das Kollegium ist ein echtes Team, das wird auch von der Führungsebene unterstützt. Man kann immer was neues lernen, von daher muss es einem nie langweilig werden! Sehr viele Sprachen bedeutet man kann immer wieder Sprachen üben.

Der super Bäcker ums Eck hat montags geschlossen!

Fairtrade Kaffee wäre besser.

Sehr fair. Ein bisschen stressig zu der Weihnachtszeit aber das ist zu erwarten im e-commerce Bereich.

Für eine kleine Firma recht gut, wenn du richtig viel verdienen willst sollst du Jura oder Medizin studieren!
