I applied to this position in the beginning of Febuary. After my application being denied, the HR recruiter wrote me on LinkedIn and found my profile interesting and fitting for this position. I found that interesting as I just received an automatic decline and told her about that. She said that must be a technical error. That was the first point of chaos as I can say now. I had a call with HR Recruiter and a first interview with the hiring manager. Both calls were in my opinion good. After not hearing anything for 2 or 3 weeks, and after sending multiple Emails to find out about the status of my application I found out that the role will not be filled. Frustrating but part of the game. I understand that. I was then again approached by the HR Recruiter a couple weeks later about the role being open again. I had another interview with a case study which in my opinion went successful. After not hearing anything again for another 3 weeks, I received a message from the HR Recruiter asking about freelance opportunities within Ironhack. This was new and not what I wanted though and declined, asking about the status of my application as I really wanted to join Ironhack and contribute my passion and experience to its fantastic mission. However, no answer on that. Couple weeks later, the Hiring Manager wrote me an email about what salary I would consider as my salary expectations which I already discussed in my original Email with the HR Recruiter, in which she stated we were aligned, was now all of a sudden too high. I dropped my salary expectation significally as I really wanted to join Ironhack. However, I received an automated decline letter today, almost the end of May, 4 months later. Not even a personal response from either the HR Recruiter or the Hiring Manager. This recruitment process was an absolute joke to say the least, disrespectful towards the applicant and highly unprofessional and no transparency at all times. Horrible and a waste of time
