Summary/Objective:

Our laboratory is currently looking to fill a full-time position for a Team Lead – Data Analyst (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d).
As a team leader, you will be responsible for building the analytics team and business and product analytics vision. You are going to support our teams through collection, delivering and interpreting data. Overseeing business operations and product data collection. Providing actionable insights to our marketing and sales teams on the user acquisition frontend on how people use our products on the delivery front. Help us to stay up to date with industry trends through market research. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and sales teams. You are a curious, technology-minded person with a passion for using data to inform decisions. You are driven by improvement and are aiming success thinking in a bigger picture for business. Your ability to take data and build an informed perspective is critical to success in this role.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain data-driven culture across the organization.
  • Design, build and maintain dashboards with analytics in Looker for each department.
  • Ensure that quality data collection processes for each department are documented and in place. Assist in data management, governance, attribution rules, and data quality with other functional data owners to ensure data integrity across different departments.
  • Metrics explanation and interpretation to non-analytical staff.
  • Communication of business performance to the management team.
  • Support product team and engineers in the design of essential product events collection framework.
  • Support the design and launch of experiments; uncover opportunities and surface new ideas that may lead to breakthroughs in growth or challenges.
  • Research and build metrics for product performance.
  • Research market trends in the industry.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or related technical/quantitative fields
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in an analytical role involving user growth/product optimization/business analytics/performance marketing.
  • People manager role experience.
  • Proficiency in Data-warehouse/SQL/Python/Power-BI.
  • Airflow/API experience, Azure DevOps is a plus.
  • Familiar with standard statistical methods and applications (A/B testing, probability, regression).
  • Good communication skills as a collaborative team player in across-cultural and cross-functional environments. Ability to synthesize and communicate complex concepts and analyses in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Written and oral fluency in German and English

Travel
Travel is expected and may occasionally occur for educational/career development purposes.
