Die Aufgabe war etwas anspruchsvoll und hat etwas Zeit in Anspruch genommen. Das Team war aber in jeder Stufe freundlich und wertschätzend. Am Ende hat es für uns beide einfach nicht gepasst. Bei einer passenden Stelle würde ich es aber jederzeit wieder versuchen.

Unprofessional and disappointing recruitment process

I am writing this review to share my experience with Kameleoon’s recruitment process, which unfortunately was very disappointing.
The process started well with an initial interview with HR, which felt professional and promising. After that, I was asked to complete an assignment, which required a significant amount of time and effort. I later presented this assignment to the respective team, and I was told that I would receive feedback or an update soon.
However, after that point, communication completely stopped. Over the following month and a half, I sent a total of five follow-up emails trying to get any kind of response or update. None of these emails were answered. It was particularly frustrating to see that my messages were read but consistently ignored. At no point did I receive a confirmation, a rejection, or any form of closure.
I fully understand that recruitment processes can take time and that priorities change. However, completely ignoring a candidate after asking for substantial work is, in my opinion, highly unprofessional. A simple and honest response — even a rejection — would have been appreciated and would have shown respect for the candidate’s time and effort.
This experience left me with a very negative impression of the company’s professionalism and candidate care. I hope this feedback can help improve how candidates are treated in the future.
