Come up with an interview process with relevant info for the candidate. Communicate with candidate in regard to next steps.
My Experience
This spring I applied to LSE Space GMBH because at the first glance company showed promise. Its bussiness is space related and nowadays it looks like a nice thing.
Interview process has multiple stages like:
1. HR
2. Screening with tech lead and HR
3. Technical Interview.
Pluses
1. From the 3 above mentioned stages only the last stage made sense to me; the reason why I say this is because you get practical questions and exercises which make the interview interactive.
Minuses
1. The company does not provide critical information about the position, i.e. budget, vacation days, home office possibility
2. HR does not know any info about company's business; no relevant intro was made
3. The Head of Department proves below average communication skills, leaving the candidates a weird feeling while interacting with them. His English language skills are pretty high, but maybe he should rephrase and change his tone while engaged in discussions.
4. The tech lead (architect or so) cannot keep up while engaged in English conversations.
Conclusion
I have noticed the red flags starting with the first interview but I decided to ignore them; in my case, curiosity killed the cat.
I advise the candidates to avoid this company for now as there is no real interview process; it is just a company with a couple of workers. The company has no idea what it's doing.
