Great place to work
Arbeitsatmosphäre
I joined Ocean Insight only few months ago. I was very nice welcomed. Team spirit is great here. Colleagues are very supportive, whenever I have to face any challenging situations.
I am really pleased that it is international culture here, there is cultural diversity and I find it very inspiring.
Kommunikation
I find communication great here. The hierarchy is flat and in the office I do not have any issue to approach people whenever I need.
The company is growing and we have more offices (Rostock, Hamburg, Barcelona, India). Sometimes I have feeling that there is delay in the flow of information because of different locations, however the company's aim is to improve the communication between offices.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
I have to admit, that colleagues are great. We have teambuilding activities on regular base, we eat together, preparing salat lunch together once per week. During summer we grill together on the terrace.
Work-Life-Balance
I really like the work-life balance. The company is very supportive and flexible. It is great that home office is not problem. I have to say that company was very well prepared for home office before corona came and it was no problem to working from home.
Interessante Aufgaben
What I really like is that there is also space for my own ideas. The environment is very creative and supports new ideas. Some tasks are very creative, some tasks get on my nerve but at the end of the day I can see nice balance between the tasks.
Arbeitsbedingungen
I find working conditions very attractive. Every one has laptop and can also work from home. We have nice new offices. What nerves me is sometime echo in the new meeting space, however the company is working on it to improve the sound there.
What I really appreciate is parking place.
And coffee and water is free :) and we have sometimes also fruit day :).
Karriere/Weiterbildung
It has still kind of start-up project approach and hierarchy is flat here.
I find it would be nice to provide more learning courses and learning opportunities.
