The pollitisation of the name of the bank. Using the bank as a ping-pong between SPD and CDU. Attacking the people working for the bank. Not asking the opinion of the working people.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
The workers are protected from the media attacks a bit like a mother hugs a child and hides it. The workers however are not children. They are qualified and clever people who know the reasons why they still work for the bank. And stand behind the, May be this can be used to change the PR of the bank in a positive direction.

Due to the upper remarks, it makes fun to work in such an environment.

No extreme competition, kind managers - good comunication.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
As I mentioned, when you remove the stress to work for you boni, you suddenly don't see you collegues as competition. This leads to a very nice and pleasent work evnvironment. And having helpful collegues is also a rare feature in the bank field.
Work-Life-Balance
That is the best part - have an interesting work and a life!
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Since there are no bonis in this bank, the managers have to become really creative not to loose good coworkers. And if you are lucky, as I am in my department, you get additional incentive such as interesting tasks, flexible working time, organized off-work activities, seminars, etc. Most collegues I have are also chosen to be highly qualified but motivated by other things rather than simply money - e.g. the possibility to have a life, a family life and still work what you want and still work in a bank..very rare opportunity
Interessante Aufgaben
Given that there are less people who apply for a bank that does not pay boni, you have the chance to be really given interesting task that have been waiting for you to come and do them.

Not many 45+. The ones there are highly respected.

Not perfect, but good enough.

In the hard times for the bank this is not really taken care of. May be when normal times come back, this will be again an issue.

Good enough. In any case, worse than other banks. No bonis.

The image of the bank is currently not very good. But due to the chance to learn extremely much and take a lot of responsibility, on a personal level this is definitely compensated.

This is seen as a motivation factor, not money based one. And as such often used.
