I had a lot of freedom, and responsibility. So I could actually raise my interests in a certain field and start my own project which is amazing. I learned heaps during my internship because I learned a lot about a completely new, technical area. In general, my skill-set broadened immensely - although I am very aware that this wasn't the case for everyone in the company.
So, besides the amazing professional experience, mainly attributed to new, useful, computer skills and freedom at work, the social experience was also really worth it. Great colleagues, fairly international - they're a sweet bunch.
Here, the criticism is on a very high level because store2be is a great employer. Nevertheless, I do think that there should be more transparency about salaries since there seems to be quite a divide. You better negotiate well.
Right now, it operates like an agency but I would put more stress on software/analytics

- Constant effort to adopt modern software development best practices
- Real attention to code quality
- Constant reexamination of development process and organization
- Rapid adoption of new technologies where and when it makes sense (I introduced GraphQL for example)
- Requirements and specifications are gathered by a very nice and competent product team
- Great balance of flexibility and professionalism from management
- The tech team is remote-friendly
The downsides are those of other startups at that stage.
Best team I've worked with. Extremely good mood.
Communication within the company and with management is transparent and empathetic.
The compensation level is at the level to be expected for a startup at that stage.

The path towards being a mature and functioning company is still uncertain, so you can expect: project hits a dead end, not enough data to tackle certain project, feel lost at times when structures are missing (contrary to mature, established companies).
I would bring a phew senior/experienced people to some critical positions (partners management and sales).

As a employee that is kinda junior I would have loved to have more guidance. But due to store2be being that ambitious and setting it's bar quite high, I totally get it.
Try to enable the work between departments more. In certain parts of the company you kind of feel left out.
Man wird gefördert, gehört und fair behandelt. Sehr gute kollegiale Atmosphäre. Starke Balance zwischen Spaß und Arbeitsethik. Die Arbeit ist vielfältig und schnelllebig.

Als Praktikant war ich verantwortlich für die Unterstützung des Sales-Teams. Von Anfang an wurde ich als Teil des Teams betrachtet und konnte jederzeit mit gutem Gewissen Fragen stellen. Darüber hinaus herrschte ein sehr ausgeprägter Teamgeist innerhalb der Firma. Die Tatsache, dass ich nicht nur als Teil des Teams wahrgenommen wurde, sondern man auch aktiv daran interessiert war, mir Verantwortung und neue Aufgaben zu übergeben, unterstütze meine Lernkurve und sorgte für Abwechslung.
