Family and free time are highly valued at XOM. Also it does not really matter when you do your work, as long as you deliver on time. You are free to work some days longer and some days shorter depending on your preference and important meetings of course.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Each employee has a yearly budget for trainings/seminars. Our supervisors make sure that we spend this budget and encourage us to take the time for it.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
XOM offsets its emissions and takes a lot of actions to be a climate-neutral company and reduce the carbon footprint.

In general the collaboration is good, there is a great team spirit. But sometimes there are difficulties with cross-departmental collaboration

To be honest we are quite a young team but I could not imagine someone being discriminated against because of age.

Arbeitsbedingungen
We get equipment for our home offices like monitor, mouse, keyboard etc. The setup in general is modern and you can always ask if you need something.
Kommunikation
Despite remote work, the communication is very good thanks to Slack and Video meetings. The company goals are transparently communicated to everyone and broken down for each department. We all know what our work contributes to these goals and the bigger picture. Each month there is a "Business Update" meeting where we get updated on revenue, ebitda etc.
Gleichberechtigung
We are an international team with a lot of women in management positions, I think that speaks for itself.
