There are some very good people in this company but they have no opportunity to really show it.
Management have done a terrible job (strategy, communication, technical debt). Everything may look good on board level but ruins the company from the inside. The number of good people leaving is extremely high and I'm not sure if the recent takeover announcement will improve the situation.
Exchange the entire management! Technically the mgmt team missed did a terrible job of not setting the right steps to develop the product into the right direction so not the product is pretty legacy. He micromanages and does not trust the developers, says that he can do everything in a week. No one in the company respects him. The company seems pretty clueless on the strategy of the company - they were all passive just trying to somehow satisfy the existing deals and sales promises they gave.
Toxic work culture from management and various divisions.
Unknown in Austria b/c they have no client base here.
Most people work very long hours.
There is 1200 EUR education budget one can use.
Pay is very mixed, developer get below average.
Product team seems pretty healthy on the inside but in general the working relationship between the departments are not great.
Depends on who you work with. Some good leader left after a year as they were fed up.
Nice offices
From the top there is pretty much no information, that's why the company is full of rumour and gossip.
From a development perspective, it's boring, code base is old and almost no new technologies are being used.
Just the salary they offered during your recruitment.. is nice..
Their performance measurement criteria is not all valid.
First 3 months is probation period.during this time they can terminate the employee if they dont like the performance.. but They will not.. means they like it.. and suddenly in after 3 more months.. they terminate you as they dont like your performance.. without any option to improve.. without any proper reason..
This kind of culture of termination is not common in copmanies.. but they do like this.
Not proper training to new employees about there product..and architecture of the solution... which leads the employee in problematic situation..And company is not doing anything in this field.. they are just hiring and firing..
Provide proper integration(Effective Training Plans) to new employee with in the team..
Try to retain your employees.. already in last one year around 20 people left the company..
Try to find the problems which employee is facing... Termination is not the solution..
No training provided for their products.. and then they compare your performance with 5 years old experienced employee
