Good home office policy, many other things must change
Arbeitsatmosphäre
A lot of negativity and frustration, and honestly that’s understandable.
Kommunikation
Constant impression that the management knows more but is hiding the truth
Work-Life-Balance
Awful. High pressure on the employees, chaos, no clear tasks, structure, responsibility. They work “a few more minutes everyday” to get all the bridge days off. In reality a few minutes means 40 hours instead of 38,5. Overtime is not payed or offered as time off and I had weeks when I struggled to not work more than 40 hours
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Depends on the line manager. I was lucky in this regard, but even so, they don’t always have the power to make things better. It’s the culture that is toxic and old fashion.
Interessante Aufgaben
The industry itself is very interesting, but quite restrictive.
Gleichberechtigung
It is not said or shown directly, but you can feel the old mentality that women are not good enough and are not included in the groups and discussions.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Depends on the person. Some of them are extremely difficult
Arbeitsbedingungen
If we were in the 90’, maybe good. The office space looks and feels old, the furniture is old and the chairs are awful. I tried 3 until I found one that was not giving me back pain after a few hours.
Gehalt/Benefits
I got what I asked for, but they try to keep it as cheap as possible. If I knew how crazy things will get, I would have asked for more.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Depends on the line manager.
