Professioneller und respektvoller Umgang im Recruiting
Verbindliche und zeitnahe Rückmeldungen nach Bewerbungsgesprächen
I would like to share my experience with the application process at Borealis. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations in terms of efficiency and personalization.
After submitting my application, I waited 20 days to receive an initial response, which was an automated email asking whether I was aware of the number of hours stated in the job advert. I promptly confirmed this on the same day and subsequently received an automated invitation to an interview a week later. The interview was also automated, offering no opportunity to ask questions or interact with a real person.
About 2 1/2 weeks later, I received another automated email asking if my CV was uploaded in English. Again, I responded immediately. A few days later, I received another automated rejection email with wording such as “as we discussed over the phone.” However, at no point did I have any direct contact with a person, whether by email or phone.
Overall, the process took nearly 1 1/2 months and left me wondering if my CV and interview were ever reviewed by a human being. For a company of Borealis' size and reputation, I had expected a more streamlined, personalized, and respectful approach.
Over a month of waiting for any response. About a rejection one learns from a note in the user account saying "we decided to pursue other candidates." the offical e-mail template follows in the next days only. No feedback is given. On the day of the rejection the ad for the position is reposted and remains online the following weeks. absolutely no transparency as to the recruitemnt process

I already had since September 2020 two times contact with this company. I do not understand their behavior, what they are really looking for in my specialty.
Job postings with € 80K per year minimum than € 75K and now € 60K. Hard to understand what is in their minds. If they have the jobs or they are just doing salary surveys. I was always asking for less than what they offered as minimum. Weird "interview", registering myself answering to four questions. Rejects without substantial feedback. The ever present bragging about how many candidates they have, all better than me. The reason they probably keep on posting the job. In my world, if you have candidates and you occupy the position you don't need to repost it again after few months. But my logic is too normal I guess. Lies, agency (Hays) says they rejected me internally then Borealis sends me a link to rate their recruiting process. If the agency rejected me why is Borealis asking for feedback? Again, my logic is way too normal for these weirdos.
I think the HR people in Borealis doing this have absolutely no idea how much harm they do to the company.
So verdient kununu Geld.
