hard to describe...felt like there is none
eventhough they receive leadership training in order to professionalise the bunch of young adults, it felt like they ignored or forgot everything they learned within 5 minutes of stepping out. It feels like people get leadership roles without a single clue what they are doing and without any direction or realistic expectations of the job. I assume, because senior leadership has just as little experience outside the company's bubble as the majority of the rest of the staff.

i saw that they were trying to improve, but it was poor and superficial
gender, diversity and inclusion were not considered a topic to invest in despite several memebers of the staff trying to highlight its importance and relevance.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
there were none and i highliy doubt they would want older colleagues there, let alone be willing to pay an adequate salary for more experienced people

i expected more willingness to invest in people and their career development. "look-at-me" attitude gets rewarded, which fits the image admittedly. everyone else gets nothing at best, offensive comments at worst.
Gehalt / Sozialleistungen
bean bags and club mate are not enough to be competitive, the salary was subpar and "negotiations" were non existant or at best offending
cloudflight does a fantastic job regarding their image, they really know how to create a brand

We are sorry to read, that you didn't find your Cloudflight-journey so positive and that we couldn't discuss the topics directly earlier, but we still got the feedback through this channel and have the chance to reflect the topics. We would like to use the opportunity to give some feedback on your remarks this way: Dealing with older colleagues You're right, we have a very young average age, but this is not because we don't want "older colleagues". In fact, we do have colleagues who are 45+ and we don't hire by age, but by qualification. In addition, our recruiting model is based on the fact that we recruit our candidates mostly directly from the university. Furthermore, our Coding Contest attracts a very young audience. Equal Rights The issue of equal rights is also very important to us and we take up all issues in this regard, e.g. all our new offices are barrier-free, we offer many different part-time work models so that our employees can reconcile their private and professional lives, we have created opportunities for employees to retreat for their religious rituals, and we always strive to find individual solutions for individual needs. Supervisor behavior We have implemented various formats for our young managers, such as mentoring, to better support and develop them in their activities. We also have a good mix of developing employees internally and hiring external colleagues with the relevant experience. Colleagues' Cohesion Our colleagues regularly organize team and social events to which all employees are invited across projects and teams. The events are selected and organized by the employees themselves, while the costs are borne by Cloudflight. These events are usually very well attended and are a great opportunity to get to know colleagues outside your own team and have a good time together. Salary/Social benefits There are regular salary developments that are in line with personal performance and development. In addition, as a company we offer a variety of benefits - monetary and non-monetary. Career/further training We developed our Cloudflight Growth Space Program at the end of last year, which includes all roles and levels and is implemented and lived step by step.
