I have applied for a Scrum Master role, as described on advertisement they are searching for Scrum Master. Had an interview with one employee where i have answered all the questions based by the Agile Manifesto (Scrum). At the end i asked how they are working, it came out they are not working with Scrum but with Kanban. One of the questions was how to convince the team to start using Scrum. Well the guy as a saw was also an Certified Scrum Master working in the company a few years, so he didn’t convinced the team to use Scrum and they are waiting for some magician to come and change their approach. A lot of companies like this in Austria, closed minds with no agile mindset searching for s Scrum Master and when you describe how Scrum works they are not ready for implementing it. Don’t ABUSE the word Scrum thinking that’s cool to write on the advertisement and in reality you are still closed minds working with Waterfall. Total disaster!
