I worked at some employers before that were great, like Erste Bank. But Flinn is again even another level higher!

At the beginning of employment I received very good mentoring and worked closely with my supervisor, which helped me a lot.
Also, you can decide when and what you work on - everyone has a great entrepreneurial mindset. The management trusts employees to use this mindset to make autonomous decisions and do what's the best for the company.
All employees trust each other that the work they do is in the best interest of Flinn, which enables everyone to feel and be flexible with their working time.

Everyone accepts one another how they are. I think this will be the same even when we grow more, as it is already very deep in our company culture.
Due to the size of the company, the work varies a lot which makes it very interesting. There are so many things to do, but you can still come up with something new.

Coming from a consulting background, I truly value the flexibility to work from anywhere. While I enjoy working in the office, having the option to work remotely without judgment allows me to balance my hobbies, family, and personal growth. For a VC-backed early-stage startup, the work-life balance here is in my opinion exceptional.
There are clear opportunities for growth. Leadership regularly checks in to understand employees’ aspirations and actively supports them in achieving their development goals.
The compensation is fair and competitive. Additional benefits, such as public transport subsidies, would be a nice addition, but I know they are already in the planning stages.
Flinn makes an effort to compensate for emissions wherever possible. However, given the team’s presence in multiple locations and the need for client visits, maintaining a smaller carbon footprint remains a challenge
We support each other beyond just work. We're a team and often friends. Everyone pushes one another to grow and improve. I especially love our social activities, like board game nights and after-work gatherings, as well as company-wide challenges, whether it’s tracking blood sugar levels, running a marathon, or a reading challenge
While the team is generally young, we have several members with 10+ years of outstanding experience in areas like sales/product management, regulatory affairs, backend development, etc. There’s so much to learn from them, and what I truly appreciate is that experienced colleagues value and actively seek input from junior team members.
The founders are true role models: building a fast-growing company while prioritizing employee well-being and ensuring our values are at the core of everything we do. Their leadership is open, appreciative, constructive, and motivating - simply the best leadership I have experienced so far in my professional career.
Flinn offers a beautiful Altbau office in Vienna’s 9th district, along with fantastic locations in Berlin and Paris. The offices are well-equipped with all necessary amenities, remote work is fully supported, and the overall infrastructure is great.
Respectful communication is a core principle at Flinn. Open feedback is actively encouraged and implemented, fostering both personal and professional growth while preventing misunderstandings. What I particularly appreciate is the flat hierarchy. Despite being in a rather junior to mid-level role, my opinion is valued and heard. In some areas, I even have full ownership, where my judgment alone counts.
I’ve only had positive experiences regarding equality and inclusion at Flinn. The founders place a strong emphasis on diversity, and for a tech startup, the female-to-male ratio is quite balanced.
