Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Develop, sustain and evangelize devOps methodology withing the organization for software and firmware development
• Take complete ownership of product delivery infrastructure development and operations
• Design optimized, reusable and scalable application deployment solution for microservices/traditional applications
• Automate Infrastructure provisioning and development processes
• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and use them to define platform backlog
• Writing automation code. Also, Reviewing, Testing and examining code written by others
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps and related technologies
• Container orchestration platform (Kubernetes/OpenShift etc)
• CI platform, e.g., Jenkins
• Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Experience with Log Aggregation tools like ELK, etc.
• Understanding of at least one scripting language Python/bash/Perl
• Proficiency with modern development tools, like Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence etc.
• OpenShift pipelines
• Exposure to microservices tools landscape, e.g., Prometheus/Grafana, Tracing, service mesh etc.
• Experience with GitOps is a big plus
