Migration & Integration Expert - Roche Cloud Platform AWS

As a Migration-integration expert & Technical Product Owner, you will lead Roche’s high-stakes AWS account migrations, facilitating the integration of newly acquired entities and the consolidation of legacy infrastructure into the Roche Cloud Platform. You will also engineer new features for the platform, ensuring it remains at the cutting edge of enterprise cloud standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Establish technical direction for platforms and services throughout their lifecycle, applying software engineering principles to build large-scale infrastructure products.
• Design complex CI/CD pipelines, self-healing features, and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage system health, availability, and performance metrics, while proactively planning for capacity and scalability.
• Collaborate with developers, suppliers, and vendors to improve application development velocity and service reliability.
• Ensure solutions comply with quality, regulatory, security, and cost standards, including leading audit exercises.
• Lead geo-distributed teams through influence and mentorship, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions and solving complex, high-impact problems.
• Expert proficiency in AWS platform management, including account provisioning, landing zone deployment, and multi-tenant applications.
• Strong expertise in IaC development using Terraform and AWS CDK, with a focus on reusable components.
• Deep knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, security guardrails, and the AWS Well-Architected framework.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python/Bash), CI/CD practices, and Gitlab/Github.
• Experience with Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), self-service APIs, and integrating AI/LLM tools into DevOps workflows.
• Strong ability to manage ITSM processes and conduct blameless postmortems.
