The Position
As part of the Site Operations team at the Penzberg site, you will be responsible for the IT infrastructure of building control systems to ensure a future-oriented and smooth operation.
Responsibilities
- Administer the system landscape, including hardware, operating systems, firewalls, VLANs, virtualization, and server management.
- Ensure IT security and compliance through patch management, risk assessments, and participation in audits.
- Maintain system documentation and manage changes according to operational and legal requirements.
- Lead sub-projects, manage system interfaces, and provide on-site technical support.
Qualifications
- Completed degree or technician training in IT, automation, electrical engineering, or a related field with relevant professional experience.
- Strong experience in IT system architectures, network infrastructure, IT security, Microsoft environments, and virtualization.
- Knowledge of building automation systems and familiarity with cloud services and SAP applications.
- Structured, solution-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
